Fun In The Studio (Sept 2011 - Q Division Sessions).
Here we are recording tracks for “Sweater Weather,” “So Long So Long So Long”, “I Don’t Want to Know You,” & “Modern Fiction.”
I think I’ve lost at least 10 lbs since that video. Making a record is STRESSFUL!

We’re graciously nominated for Best Pop/Rock Artist for the Boston Music Awards this year.
Even though we haven’t put out any new music and are working our asses off in the studio writing and recording and playing nice and big shows for nice and big crowds - it’s still an honor!
So please vote for us and spread the word.
If you re-tweet, re-post, re-Face (whatever), let us know and we’ll send you our first album FOR FREE.
Thanks again and really looking forward to 2012.

Being the first one at a show is not necessarily a bad thing but it’s pretty awkward. For those of you who don’t know, the Middle East is a club in Cambridge. It’s got a small stage and bar but plenty of space and a pretty sweet environment. I got to chat with some of the guys from Bozmo and Pretty + Nice before the show and discovered that all the bands on this Halloween show bill hail from the Boston area (with the exception of Emperor X from Jacksonville, FL) and are all buds. It was like one giant family, and by the end of the show I definitely felt like one of them.
Overdubs at Q Division Studios. Xylophone. Outdated keyboards. Farfisa via the Moon.
It’s coming together.
Here’s a clip of our good friend Emeen Zarookian bassin’ it up on a brand new song. Pass that shit ALONG and come see Emeen play bass with us opening up for Fountains of Wayne again on 9/9 here in Boston
